Katsina State House of Assembly Committee on Local Government and Emirate Affairs has tasked local councils in the state on the need to execute people’s oriented projects.

Chairman of the committee, Alhaji Ibrahim Danjuma Machika made the call during an oversight visit to some Local Governments in Daura zone.

The committee inspected projects in Sandamu, Baure, Zango, Mai’adua, Daura and Mashi local governments areas.

Projects inspected by the committee include drilling of boreholes, construction of market stalls, drainages in addition to renovation of health facility and the residence of Zango district head.

Similarly, the committee also inspected construction of a block of two classrooms in Daura and wall fencing of police station and a feeder road all in Mashi local government area.
